This adaptation by Deb McAndrew is fantastic and as this story retains a perpetual popularity and, sadly, relevance, 2025 saw the fifth production that myself, Amy and Hayley have made together. This was by far the biggest, and we repositioned the story with Scrooge as a powerful Leeds mill owner - the modern day tech bro - and this allowed his reformation to have much wider scope, extending not just to the Cratchit family, but also to appreciation of the whole workforce who power his empire.
