This was a mad and joyful project with a wonderful British/German team, inventing new worlds, finding the fun in fantasy, leaning into my inaccurate attempts at German lyrics, and generally turning all the tropes of superhero quests on their head.
I don't know what the Stuttgart team thought had hit them for most of rehearsals, but in the end I think we won them round, and the show's still running in their repertory in 2026
